When a storm hits your area and causes damage to your home, making the repairs necessary to bring your home back to its pre-storm condition, can be a scary and time-consuming process.  Here are a few tips to help you start the process:

   1.  Contact your Insurance Agent to schedule a claim adjuster's     inspection.  Do not attempt  to make any repairs on your own as this     may affect the insurance amount awarded to you.

   2.  Meet with your contractor prior to your insurance inspection to     assess areas of concern.

   3.  Schedule your contractor to be present during the insurance     inspection.

   4.  Schedule repairs.

   5.  Schedule inspection for additional repairs or to assess any               additional costs incurred throughout the construction process.

   6.  Enjoy your newly repaired home.
